The Hollywood Challenge is on!!

UPDATE: RESULTS ARE IN!

The Members' Choice for the first-ever showbizzle/CIF Hollywood Challenge is: Dangerbox from New York University! Check out their hilarious video on the Hollywood Challenge video page, and keep an eye out for them...something tells me you're going to see them on showbizzle again...

Question: What would happen if a major Hollywood Production Company decided to make a major motion picture on the campus of your favorite college?

Answer: You'll have to wait until March 15th to find out, when some of the best college improv teams in America post their comedic videos at showbizzle.com for the first-ever Hollywood Challenge, running through April 15, 2010.

Sponsored by showbizzle.com, the unique Los Angeles-based web series and digital showcase combo for emerging talent, and CIF Productions, the non-profit arts organization whose programs include the Chicago Improv Festival and the National College Improv Tournament, the Hollywood Challenge invited collegiate improvisational groups to capture on video the spontaneous energy and inventiveness they bring to their live performances.

From March 15 through April 15, fans will vote for their favorite submissions. The team that receives the most votes on the showbizzle website during the voting period will have their entry featured at the 13th annual Chicago Improv Festival which runs from April 19-25, 2010 and will have the opportunity to work with showbizzle creators and award-winning writers Charles Rosin, showrunner of the original Beverly Hills, 90210, and Lindsey Rosin, to create original material for showbizzle.com.

"showbizzle was created to put some fun back into the business and create opportunity for emerging talent," according to Mr. Rosin, "and who better to take advantage of this than the college improv community?"
