showbizzle decided to hold an audition for a new cast member in early September. It was a tremendous success on many fronts. We had the privilege to meet tons of new actors, many of whom have bright futures ahead in this business.

We wrote ten monologues, and called it Performing the Monologue - the Audition. 

We started with a total of 4,000 actors submiting headshots and resumes. Next, 175 audition videos were accepted for the audition. All of you voted, as did our bizzlecasting team - which brought the auditions down to 25 talented finalists.

We discussed, argued, voted, and finally agreed on which members showbizzle will be featuring in 2010.

New Cast Member - Aimee Shyn (receives meeting with casting directors; new head shots; membership to a casting network, cash prize and most importantly a featured role in showbizzle in 2010)

Member's Choice --  Alissa Salavatore (cash prize and featured spot on our Digital Showcase)
